Did you know that one female kitten can become pregnant at just four months old? And that the quick process of a single pregnant four-month-old kitten can lead to over 50 additional cats and kittens in one colony in just over a year?

We’re here to help, not to judge
We aren’t here to judge — we’re here to take care of the cats and kittens. It’s okay if you’ve been giving them food and water. But as their caretaker, it’s important to also get them spayed and neutered so that those couple of cute kittens don’t quickly turn into an uncontrollable, completely overwhelming situation.
Unfortunately, in our line of work, “good intentions” often lead to pain, suffering, and death of these beautiful little creatures.
Before re-homing
It’s also incredibly important to get any cats or kittens you plan to re-home from a colony spayed and neutered before re-homing. Otherwise this same process just starts all over again, just at a different location.
We understand resources are very limited in our area — that’s exactly why we started the Olalla Farm Feline Spay & Neuter Project. We’re here and happy to help.
