We partner with businesses across the community such as Ziggy’s Cat Lounge in Bremerton to hold cats available for adoption. Such partnerships provide valuable enrichment and socialization for cats, as well as exposure and opportunities to find forever homes. Updates on available cats and kittens and their current locations are posted on our Facebook page, as well as our available cat listings.
What to expect when adopting from us
Friendly cats and kittens only
We only adopt out friendly cats and kittens from the colonies we assist. Friendliness ranges from velcro cats to those who simply tolerate their humans. Some kittens need a little socialization work, but even feral kittens tend to warm up quickly.
Outdoor access for adult cats
All adult cat adoptions require you to provide some outdoor access. These cats have lived most of their lives outside and can become depressed and anxious when kept inside all the time.
Companionship matters
Cats from colonies tend to thrive with a companion animal. We typically require another friendly cat or kitten in the home, or adoption in pairs. Rarely, an adult cat may do well as an only pet.
Lifetime support
Our doors stay open for any questions or concerns throughout the lifetime of your cat. If you ever face a crisis with a cat you adopted from us, please reach out — we are here to help.
Adoption fees
Our fees reimburse the medical costs of the clinic we’re partnering with at the time. We make no profit from this work.
$30+
Minimum spay/neuter fee with an ear-tip. An ear-tip is required for any adult cat or kitten you plan to let outdoors.
$80+
Minimum spay/neuter fee without an ear-tip.
Optional add-ons
Vaccinations, microchipping, testing, and flea medication are available upon request. Costs depend on the clinic but are typically very affordable, ranging from $5–$30 per add-on. An additional donation or help with supplies from our Amazon Wish List is always appreciated but never required.
